My healthy cooking is all about pH balance (aka. an alkaline diet!) because I believe that when we are alkalised, we are free from any health problems such as cancer, diabetes, inflammation issues and weight gain.
I guess those who attended my cooking class, my talk event and my online class “ 30 day Challenge with Japanese Superfoods” know about alkaline diet very well by now!
I practice daily alkalising and eliminated a high acid diet over a decade ago.
So, it is great to see the article about viruses, including coronavirus, is pH sensitive.

How can you practice daily alkalising?
It is very simple – stop having acidic foods and have alkaline foods!
Highly acidic foods include:
- Alcohol
- Caffeinated drinks- coffee and energy drinks are the worst! (Matcha contains caffeine but it is ALKALISING)
- Animal products- any types of meat, seafoods, dairy products
- Junk foods
- Sugar
EAT MORE ALKALINE FOODS
Alkaline foods include:
- Vegetables – especially dark green vegetables
- Fruits with less sugar contents- berries, grape fruits, avocado and tomato
- Legume
- Unrefined quality oil
Japanese superfoods are alkalising and a few of them are HIGHLY ALKALISING such as seaweeds and konnyaku (aka. konjac)
Let’s eat alkaline foods to avoid getting corona virus as well as other flu or chronic diseases!
