  • 🍜Oroshi soba🍜⁠ ⁠ Do you know daikon oroshi? 🤔⁠ ⁠ It means grated #daikon which is a large white radish and it is a huge part of Japanese dishes. ⁠ ⁠ 👉Please check out my latest blog about Daikon oroshi to find out how it is used in Japanese cuisine and its health benefit👈 ⁠ ⁠ Oroshi soba is normally just cold soba topped with grated daikon and shredded #nori ( 🇯🇵Japanese #seaweed ) served with dipping sauce ⁠ But I mixed soba ( I used 100% #buckwheat soba from @spiralfoods - most soba only contain 20% of buckwheat and 80% of bleached refined flour… ) ⁠ And konnyaku (aka #konjac , super #alkalising #Japanese #superfoods ) ⁠ ⁠ Quite often Japanese noodle dishes are just carbs but I added a bunch of choysum ( for two people ).⁠ 🥬Small tip🥬 - I always add green veggies in the end of boiling soba to save time and washing! ⁠ ⁠ Luckily I had some tempura dipping sauce left over from my Japanese cooking class so I served with it 🤭⁠ ⁠ ☀️It is such a perfect meal for hot summer day☀️.   • 😋 Today's #vegan lunch 😋⁠ ⁠ Seaweed fried rice 🍚 ⁠ ⁠ We have reached the time, time to clean up my fridge 🧹⁠ ⁠ I found so many useful veggies 🥬🥕 for the fried rice in my fridge – I chopped up zucchini, red capcicum, kale, carrots …fried with #organic brown rice and lots of ginger ⁠ ⁠ To boost nutrition and alkalinity, I add #arame , the Japanese #seaweeds that are super nourishing and one of the most #alkaline food on earth 🤩⁠ ⁠ Topped with scrambled #tofu for extra protein💪 ⁠ ⁠ ✨Another #health #glutenfree #lunch✨ ⁠ ⁠ Do you like fried rice?   • 🥪 JOES SANDWICH BAR 🥪 🌱The other week I went to the city for a meeting and I was starving so for a quick bite I headed to @joessandwichbar 🌱 they offer all #vegan sandwiches using the more gut healthy bread - properly fermented sourdough from @iggysbread_downunder 😅 it was a long queue but the staff were super efficient so I only ended up waiting 5 mins 👌🏻I ordered the BLAT which had Smokey tempeh, avocado, tomato, cos lettuce and aioli on it - it was delicious!!! 💁🏻‍♀️ it was made to order (super fresh!) and full of probiotics with my kombucha too! #healthygut much ?! 💕👌🏻🌱 it’s so nice to see more and more vegan food offerings around Sydney.
