We recently visited our friends who moved to The Entrance in Central Coast and found a Vietnamese restaurant with lots of vegan options! It’s my hobby to explore new restaurants that serve vegan meals whenever I visit a new area, and I get so exited whenever I find one! Its even better this time just because its an asian restaurant, and Vietnamese food is one of my favourite Asian cuisines!
There are 12 vegan dishes to choose from!
We went there for dinner and it was absolutely packed, but we were lucky enough to get the last available table!
It was absolutely packed – Both indoors and outdoors!
We ordered some vegan rice paper rolls as one of our entrées. Always nice to have fresh rice paper rolls during a hot summers day – Really nice and light! The rolls were filled with fresh veggies, fried tofu, rice noodle and mushrooms.
Entrée 1 – Vegan Rice Paper Rolls ($12)
The second entrée we got were their vegan net spring rolls. I prefer these over the regular spring rolls – They’re gluten-free unlike the usual ones and are also very light. I just love the light texture on them! So so yum – I would say this was the best dish here!
Entrée 2 – Vegan Net Spring Rolls ($9) – My favourite dish of the day!
For our mains, we ordered the Vietnamese Vegan Pancake. I love Vietnamese pancakes, but not all Vietnamese restaurants have them, especially a vegan version, so I was so thrilled to find these! They were slightly burnt, but taste was still a 10/10! Its also gluten-free and I was able to eat fresh veggies as well!
Main 1 – Vietnamese Vegan Pancake ($18)
Last but not least, our last main dish is again, a gluten-free ‘Vegan Rice’, which is basically stir-fried tofu, mushrooms, and veggies served with steam rice (rice is just a must for me!). It had a slightly sweet flavour to it, but not too sweet which is great since I’m not a fan of sweet dishes.
Main 2 – Vegan Rice ($19)
Everything we ordered was gluten-free, and we also got to eat some fresh vegetables, so its pretty healthy considering the fact that we were eating out (I realise we tend to eat naughty foods outside)
I wouldn’t say its a high-quality or amazing meal but I am so grateful that we got to eat a good vegan Vietnamese meal!
I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting The Entrance or the Central Coast area, especially if you’re looking for Asian vegan options.
