I’ve visited this vegan spot at least five times before I even cared about a plant-based diet, especially for their yum cha. Despite none of us being vegan, we all thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Air Fried radish finger
I expected air-fried daikon sticks, but this turned out to be my favorite radish cake in an air-fried, healthier version—how great is that?
It had a peppery spiciness, and I initially thought it was the hoisin sauce, but no, the cake itself had that kick. No sauce needed, though I ended up using it for another dish.

Vegetable Rolls
This was a standout. The tofu pastry was soft and absorbed all the yummy flavors, with veggies like cabbage, carrot, and wood ear mushroom inside. Not oily, but incredibly satisfying.

‘Prawn’ dumpling
This was my least favorite. I’ve had these dumplings at Green Gourmet many times, but the skin wasn’t as soft this time. Must’ve just been a bad day.

Crispy noodles with Mushroom Medley
I know deep-fried foods aren’t great for the waistline, but I couldn’t resist. It’s rare to see crispy noodles on menus these days, so I was excited.
The dish was sooooo good, packed with veggies and great flavor. I was told to mix it thoroughly, which made it even better—definitely in my top three for the day.
Nice flavour with lots of veggies, so yummm!!! Definitely one of the top 3 dishes enjoyed the day.

Crispy taro pillows
We loved this dish! At first, we hesitated to order it because it came with a “salted plum” sauce, and we thought it might be similar to the sweet plum sauce often served with spring rolls, which we don’t usually like. But we decided to give it a try, and wow, it was a huge hit!
It was such an interesting dish—something I had never tried before. The taro was wrapped in crispy tofu skin, topped with veggies and warm cashew nuts for extra protein. The sauce wasn’t too sweet, just slightly sweet and sour, perfectly balanced.
This might have been the best dish of the day!

Lion King’s Claypot
Slightly under-seasoned, but adding hoisin sauce made it perfect. The dish was loaded with veggies, and the “meatballs” were mostly vegetables with minimal mock meat.

There was also fresh coconut juice in between which was great. We couldn’t manage dessert as we were super full, but they have a great selection of vegan options! Also, no garlic or onion is used, making it a great spot for those avoiding those ingredients.
