Apple, Celery, and Lettuce Salad with Wasabi Mayonnaise
Serve 4
Fresh, crunchy, fruity, creamy salad with a kick of wasabi.
Recipes
Ingredients
- 2 small Apples (about 300g/10.5oz)
- 160g (5.5oz) Lettuce Leaves
- 2stalk of celery (about 100g) sliced
- 49g (1oz) chopped toasted walnuts
Salad Dressing
- 4 tbs wasabi mayonnaise (see recipe below)
- 4 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp water
- 2 tsp water
- 1/2 tbs salt
wasabi mayonnaise
makes 250ml (8.5fl oz)
Ratio 1:1/2 – Mayonnaise:wasabi
ingredients
- 250ml (8.5fl oz) mayonnaise
- 1.5 tbsp wasabi
Method
- Wash applethoroughly and cut into small slices.
- In a small bowl, mix the wasabi mayo with lemon juice, water and salt.
- In a large serving bowl, toss theapple, lettuce and celery and the wasabi dressing. Sprinkle with chopped toasted walnuts and serve at once.
