Vegan Healthy Brunch at Mon Chou Bondi

I went to have a healthy vegan brunch at Mon Chou Bondi! 

The menu is a bit tricky to understand as the bullet point means it can be either a toastie or bowl.

For example, the “Trippy Truffs” can be either a toastie or a bowl.

I ordered the “Trippy Truffs” as a bowl with truffled shrooms, rocket, truffle, cashew, cheese, siracha and aioli!

Trippy Truffs Bowl- $19

Isn’t it pretty? It is also very yummy!

The menu only says it has truffled shrooms, rocket, truffle, cashew, cheese, siracha and aioli, but it also contains more veggies such as avocado, raw carrots, sprouts, pickles and more!

Le Noms Toastie- $15

The inside of this toastie is filled with goodness such as avocado, tomato, sprouts, turmeric, cashew, cheese, beet, hummus and cucumber!

My hubby who is a not-so-healthy eater was very happy to eat here and it inspired him to eat more of these healthy meals (thank god for that). He typically buys an egg & avocado sandwich from the CBD, he thinks it is healthy… but this is the kind of toastie that should be categorised as healthy instead, don’t you agree?

They use Iggy’s sourdough, which is a very famous sourdough shop in the Eastern suburbs. Lots of fancy eateries and shops all over Sydney tend to use their sourdough now, even used in the Qantas business lounge.

But ordering bowls is definitely the healthier option because it has more veggies! After eating my bowl, I feel so nourished and healthy.

It is so wonderful to have discovered this new little gem and I will definitely be back for more!
