Plant Food + Wine in LA

Having dinner at Plant food and wine was definitely highlight of my LA stay.

I have been to many plant-based restaurants in many countries but this restaurant is

Vegan menu are so interesting and sophisticated … mixture of raw dishes and cooked dishes. I value the dishes that not only the taste but also preparation… you know hard to recreate at home because of the fabulous cooking technique or time consuming because I am  a chef I don’t want to eat something mediocre taste as well as easy to cook at home..I value Vegan dairy products like cheese, yogurt and raw dishes which is definitely hard to make at home!

All dishes we ordered are absolutely gorgeous! Both looks and taste.  I really love all the dishes. My hubby could not stop ordering quality wine as well!

what we order was

AVOCADO TIKKA

GRILLED POTATO BREAD. CURRY LEAF VEGAN YOGURT  HERBS

Cashew Raclette 

Cornichon ( pickled cucumber), Radish, Herb Salad, Grilled Lodge Bread

HAY SMOKED GNOCCHI.

ASPARAGUS. PEAS. FAVA BEANS. KALE. PORCINI MUSHROOM CREAM

Raw Heirloom Tomato + Zucchini Lasagna

Sun Dried Tomato Marinara, Macadamia Ricotta, Pistachio Pesto

For desserts,  we could only order one because we were so full so it was hard to pick one but I was recommended to order this gorgeous pie… look average but taste amazing!!

Coconut Cream Pie – Macadamia Crust, Banana

 

I see quite a few people were ordering Spicy Udon and I was recommended to order as well so if I am lucky enough to come back there, I would order that dish.

This restaurant is certainly one of the best vegan restaurants I have ever been! so happy we went there!
